Solar Panels Don't Belong on Prime Cropland

Solar panels will destroy thousands of acres of prime crop ground for generations to come.

Skeleton Creek Solar Complex could be detrimental to Vance!

The planned Skeleton Creek Solar Complex is East of Vance Airforce Base and South of Woodring Airport.  This will likely prevent future growth of Woodring Airport and could jeopardize the future of Vance Airforce Base.  In addition, pilots may be faced with the decision of ejecting over thousands of acres of glass and electricity.

Fire Hazards

The batteries are known to catch fire and local volunteer fire departments are not equipped to fight this kind of fire.

SHOPPING

No solar Signs - Protect our Farmland - Protect Vance AFB

We will work together to encourage the most appropriate uses of land, maintain the value of property, reduce fire hazards, improve public safety, safeguard the public health, protect and promote the retention of agriculture lands for future agricultural uses and protect agricultural lands from encroachment of non-agricultural, incompatible uses.

All donations will cover expenses associated with informing the public, informing policy makers, informing legislators, legal fees, etc.

GCCCF volunteers are not compensated.
